HIV and AIDS remain a major problem to poor countries of the world.
While some die daily from AIDS, others who are merely infected with the
HIV contend with the twin burden of stigma and fear of death. These
problems are compounded if there is no care and support to people with
HIV and AIDS. Moreover, an assessment of carers In Sierra Leone, showed
that they were 55 percent efficient in providing much needed care for
people living with HIV and AIDS, and much of the inefficiencies observed
were logistics related.
