Social Networking has become the 'buzz phrase' of the moment. There are
many different networks, offering similar or different services but one
thing they all have in common is a direct impact on individuals lives
and therefore our societies and culture. The focus of this study is to
determine the effect that the rise of online Social Networks has on the
Design Industry. Conclusions have been reached as to the main effects,
both positive and negative aspects of the effects and recommendations
for the future.
